This is for a person who offerred me help along the way when I needed it. Although my parents declined the help it is still appreciated that it was offerred in the first place! This is one of the very first steps in creating the word processor for DOS. You should notice that the letters are varied in forms. Some is in ancient cursive. Others are highlight mixed. Etc. I would like to dedicate this word processor to Dallas for helping me out. I don't know how long it will take to complete it. However I will update the first few links on a daily basis if possible until done. So here is the processor first screen in the attachment.

PS
Currently this is a very hard project for me. I'm trying my best to make it all in assembly language. Normally I do it in C mixed with assembly and that's easy to me. Maybe I have to cave-in and just do it the easy way? Yuck.

Jesus!
Chua me O!

Well, I chickened out and did it the easy way. I used Borland Turbo Assembler 4.1 mixed with Borland Turbo C 2.01 instead of doing it all in assembly. haha Anyways, this is a basics however it is a word processor. It just doesn't save to disk at the moment. Hope you like it Dallas dude. I did promised you and you did get me my own stupid forum haha

Thank you Jesus Christ.

You can see your name listed for a dedication. Thanks again.

Jesus Christ.

Here is a major update. One drawback is that it still does not save! I'm sorry about that.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Hey thanks! I like having my name in software Smile. The only real problem is delete and backspace don't work, unless that's just my laptop. Also, the intro on it should disappear after 5 seconds or so. Keep up the good work!

God told me that the intro has to stay to remember my family since they are the only ones left in my life who are real!

Other than that I could and did fix the backspace little problem.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

P.S.

I've been on boards where they were able to reverse engineer the original producer's work. I've seen movies where hackers and spies are able to peak into the lives of the producers. I've seen and known mediums and spiritual people who see from a distance. So if you or anyone choose to change the concept of my design that is your choice. However you will always know who is the original. Just like I will always know I don't own conforums or vetus or classicdosgames. Etc.

Aww man! Fine. haha - just joking. You can give me a pic. of what you want as a splash screen. Just be unique and try not to take credits away from my family haha.

Well I've modified the delay so it fits a 25 mhz computer. So it should delay for about 5 seconds when you see the splash screen.

Next planned is the save features so you can get to the old documents in DOS.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Because of the legalities involved I am updating the old version. It no longer uses Borland's proprietary TASM (Turbo Assembler).

Jesus Christ! I've just tested this word processor out and it's simple, but the credits are cool hehe. I missed probably more than I should in the credits. However I hope you like the "Happy New Year 2016" at the end of the scrolling when you press Q. Please note that it is quite some times before you reach the end; So if you don't like to wait through the credits please don't download this program unless you want to wait or something?

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Happy New Years 2 days early!

Here is a minor update. Actually, it is a big update if you consider that you could end the word processor immediately without the 30 minute scrolling credits! haha The letter "I" will end the word processor immediately. The letter "Q" will quit to the seemingly endless credits. Thank you!

Well, I'm doing some clean-up work today nearing the end of the year. So I removed all the programs that are unnecessary. Here is proof that Borland Turbo C 2.01 is all you need to do graphics processing and all other functions! It is a miracle that Borland is giving away their compiler for registered users. Be careful you never know when they might decide to make it pay again like so many places when they become popular.

Jesus Christ!

This is good enough to be the simple word processor that is requested. Depending on God's inspiration more may come later.

I consider this the "Final Edition of Simple Word Processor".

P.S.
Just because I say it is the final does not mean I am not going to add special features to it later on. You be the judge please. Thxs.

Thank you Jesus Christ.

Instructions:

If you would like to put your own splash screen on instead of my two parents and my own credits please follow the instruction format below.

There are two bitmaps images with extension ".bmp".

The specs are: 256 color bmp format
The dimensions must be less than 320 pixels wide. However pixel height can be adjustable to the duration of disk space!

The splash screen is in the file called "DallasHV.bmp".
The rolling credit screen is in the file called "creditsc.bmp".

Well for New Years 2016:

If you want to make my softwares "abandonware" just remove the bitmaps.
That way you really don't see much credits.

Happy New Years to "abandonware" forum!
