HardBall! is the first in a series of popular baseball computer and video games published by Accolade. It was released for a variety of platforms between 1985 and 1991.

Microsoft MS-DOS 5.0 Single Disk Version 5.0

This is the same as the three disk version except the second two disks are compressed into a .zip file and setup uses pkunzip.exe to extract them to the harddrive. This is a genuine Microsoft product and not an aftermarket compilation. This seems to be a rare and hard to find version.

XKEY (DE)

Replacement for "keyb gr"(german keyboard driver) XKEY is a highly-optimized DOS keyboard driver. If you find something like "keyb gr" in your autoexec.bat file, download xkey and things get better! Features: * 150 character type-ahead buffer (dos default: poor 15) * Enables fast key repeat frequency * Visual Repeat: disables key-repeat when keyboard buffer isn't empty * Caps Lock works on alpha-numeric keys only (other than stupid keyb gr) * AltGr+Extended keypad allow you to enter some more ascii-codes * One-Hand-Reset via Ctrl-Shift-Esc (instead of Ctrl-Alt-Del) * Translates keyboard buffer contents to local language (you can write before autoexec was loaded) * Disables pause-key during de video-scrolling screen reprint * Uses less memory than standard DOS keyb-drivers , 100% assembler
