I've been looking high and low tonight, but I see no evidence it exists anywhere.

Pretty sad it might have gone extinct. Original floppies would have been totally unreadable 10 years ago at least.

This is supposed to be the purpose of abandonware sites, to prevent this kind of disaster so future generations
will be able to use these apps since the long dead companies and their lawyers have no interest in them anymore.

You can see the effort to try and kill DOS apps and older Windows apps.

It doesn't make money for the greedy software companies so they want them extinct.

We keep them alive. They are important historical artifacts of what computing used to be like.

I did happen to email Startly.com (the twice-removed owner of the app) to see if they can release to the public domain.

I'm not holding my breath. That happens so rarely.

I'm not familiar with this software, but could it be PROKEY.COM dated Aug12 1985? If so, check

ftp://ftp3.us.freebsd.org/pub/misc/dos/RbbsInABoxVol1No2_640 /files/003Z/PROKEY.ZIP-contents/
