Make your way through a photo-realistic environment, trekking through fields and streams to find your prey. Choose your bait, and then outfit yourself with a combination of scopes, camouflage, and traps. You'll have four main weapons to choose from, and you even get a trusty hunting dog. Variable weather conditions ands a free-roaming environment make the game different each time you play.

Oregon Trail II includes far more detail than the original. For instance, rafting down the Columbia River is a much greater challenge than it was in the original game. Whenever an event (e.g. an accident or illness) happens, the game halts and the player must decide what to do in response, so it is much more interactive than the previous version. Players are also able to talk with other settlers along the way and ask their advice when needed. TO PLAY: No installation is needed. Copy folder so the game executable is in the root of C:\Oregon2. Click on OTII16 or OTII32 to play depending on your OS. You must install Quicktime 3.0 or higher to play.
