Spybot Search & Destroy was arguably the best tool of its time for getting rid of tracking software. Problem with that was, is that it was a bit too liberal at times on what it considered spyware and would occasionally give false alarms and mess up your installed programs. Always uninstall the program first and have spybot clean up it's left behind residue first.
