I HAVE SOME OLD DOCUMENTS THAT WERE PASSWORD PROTECTED USING PATHMINDER BACK IN THE LATE 80'S & I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THEM. THANKS TO THIS GREAT SITE, I WAS ABLE TO DOWNLOAD PATHMINDER (ALL 3 VERSIONS THAT WERE AVAILABLE HERE). I'M USING A 64 BIT COMPUTER RUNNING WINDOWS 10. WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL PATHMINDER I GET A MESSAGE THAT IT WON'T RUN ON THIS COMPUTER. IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN? (I'M NOT REAL TECHY, SO BEAR WITH ME & PLEASE TRY TO SPEAK IN TERMS I CAN FOLLOW. BACK IN THE DAY, I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE UP MY DOS FOR WINDOWS, THAT HOW OLD I AM!

On my 64bit Win10 I run my PathMinder in the free Dosbox emulator vDosPlus from vDosPlus.org
Run vDosPlus.exe to get a Dos window then go to your folder with the dos program [e.g. PathMinder] and run its exe within the vDosPlus window. I modified Config.txt by removing REM command to set USEDRVS=ON to allow it see all drives and use the Win10 folder structure as mentioned in the Readme.txt . Hope this helps.
