Someone else fall into the trap.
I wasted 4days+ creating a forum which I took down because we don't need another one. Look at computersetc and see that WinWorld, vetusware, BA and computersetc are more than enough.
Feel free to prove me wrong
Edit: your forum confuses me. What's the topic?

My forum's topic is software development, and the software I develop. So, you're saying that we don't need my forum? Don't understand.

Jesus Christ!

Everyone is a software developer these days it seems. Look at over 200000+ softwares for Apple and Microsoft. Many are trying to make a buck. The best that you can do is to work daily and bring in a living. Being a one shot wonder just does not work. Even the Olympic teams have to train all years in order achieve that peak for 1 day.

Creating your own forum works if you are willing to have a small niche who are your true friends and family. I see you are doing fine. I normally don't post on your forum because you all seem so loving and friendly to each other. So I didn't want to get in the way!

What he's saying is so many people are creating useless forums these days because it sounds cool to have one. Your forum works. It's not an issue, but seeing as 4tech has failed, be prepared and do everything you can to advertise

Thank you guys for the support, and I certainly agree. Many people just get a forum, slap it together and go around town yellin' "Hey y'all! Got a forum!". My forum, of course, as you said, just works. Can't wait to add more stuff there! And Tien, NO, You definitely don't get in the way there. Post all you want!

Thanks Ultrax. Glad to here your forum is working out. I prayed for the good of all people today so I'm glad it seems someone above is listening! haha It's a priviledge to be on your board. Being a developer gets lonely and the small joy I get from a few friends are nice. Thanks again to all my few friends especially God (Jesus Christ) and my two loving parents who went before me bringing us 3 kids up#!!

If you want to program in assembly, it mainly about the "interrupts". The commands are basics like in C and all except it uses different words for it. I don't recommend it unless you are trying to max out the speed of your computers. It was developed for systems programming back in the old days.

Ultrax, don't give up yet. Post a bit more and wait a week. If you don't gain anymore members, then pull the plug. If you really want, I could add a board to computersetc for software development. Both you and tienkhoanguyen can use it for posting your projects. Let me know what you think

For advertising, I'll add a link to computersetc in the "other forums" board. A goog le bot will then find the link and add it to google.

The forum looks pretty cool however I was not able to post for some reason. Might be a glitch.
