PKZIP is a file archiving computer program, notable for introducing the popular ZIP file format. The version uploaded here is 1.02 for OS/2 Protected Mode. The files on the disk say they are from 1989, but the label on the disk says "Copyright 1992". Also, while the packaging and the installer say this is 1.02, the application itself identifies as 1.01. This is the commercial boxed copy, but for some reason still retains the shareware version's nag message.
